Hamper Draw

 

Kirkharle Courtyard Beat the Freeze Fair

 

During the extremely successful Fair at the end of October over 1,000 people signed up for the free hamper draw.  The draw was made by the Revd. Dagmar Winter at Kirkharle Coffee House on Thursday 8th December at 10.30am. 

The Hamper, worth £250, is packed full of items most of which have been made by craftspeople who work at Kirkharle. These include a silhouette cut by John Speight, a papier mache cat by Dianne Fox, large knitting needles from Ingrid Wagner, guided walk map from John Monks, handmade Maximillian Bear made by Pamela Smith, handmade silver earings by Alan Harrison, handmade wooden box by Stephen Robinson-Gay, gift vouchers from Dennis Killgallon, a picture and calendar featuring the work of Peter Phillips and much more. There were also 5 runner up prizes.

 

The lucky winner came from Morpeth said “I am over the moon as I have never won anything in my life”.
